LIVING FEELS GOOD is a multi-sensory video project that utilizes an Arduino Uno and a vibration motor to create a synced haptic, visual, and audio experience. Hardware and coding was done with Arduino. Video editing was done with Premiere Pro. Visual effects and creation was done with Touchdesigner and After Effects.
As the video plays, the vibration motor is synced with the audiovisual and changes intensity depending on the state of the video.
This project is a rough prototype to a larger experience that could include a large quantity of vibration motors that would be held inside silicone molds (to create a better touch experience), larger screens or a dome screen that can wrap around the space, and surround sound with a subwoofer to amplify the vibrating sensations.
