The Jitlada Immersive Dining Experience was a collaboration between fr_m_d and Jitlada, a Michelin-rated Thai restaurant in Los Angeles. Attendees enjoyed an afternoon filled with a four-course meal, projection mapping, live drawing, and special gifts to take home. The event featured videos narrating the journey of Jitlada and how it came to be and questions prompting attendees to discuss their own nostalgia and relationship with food.
The videos and visuals were projected and mapped into the picture frames in the restaurant. I made the motion graphic visuals for the questions as well as doing the projection mapping in the space
Sculpture visuals by Jay Borgwardt. Projection mapping assisted by Tina Shi.
